Leaving the hangar!

Here we are leaving the shop

Next phases will include railings, rigging and some final paint and electrical.

Companionway

Mostly made of cedar and some ash trim, the companionway has started to take shape!

As you can see the topside paint is done and windows have been installed as well, getting very close to being entirely waterproof.

Engine fitting

Engine now painted red with new black hoses.

In goes the engine, Tattersail is now powered!

Sounds pretty good too :) maybe some valve rocker adjustments.

Some leaks as far as the cooling hoses go.. back to the Yanmar dealer hah

I have now started the new wiring harness and control panel.

Painting has come along a bit also - soon we should be installing the cabin soul and bulkheads.

Engine Rebuild

Yanmar 2QM15, preparing for new head gasket, I will also re-seat the valves.

Spring is here!!! Or is it....

We are looking forward to resuming the refit process, 100's of items have been purchased over the winter and are on standby pending the warmer weather!

The bulkheads and wooden subframe for the interior have been cutout and are ready for the epoxy and installation.

Engine work is almost complete and it will be ready to drop in once the final paint coat can be applied to the inside of the hull.

Yanmar Diesel Fuel Injectors Rebuilt

Though still snowing here... hopefully the temp climbs fast, very anxious to get moving again! Our completion goal is mid June!
